Hi.  My name is Daniel and I live in the Bronx, although I was born in Iowa and I have lived in many places including Iowa, Vermont, Texas, New York (Brooklyn and the Bronx) and Germany.  I love so many things, especially life, but writing and poetry is a major passion of mine, as is photography, history,  science and music of all kinds.  Reading anything and everything has always been a driving force in my life and I would strongly advise against ever attempting to take a book from my hands!   I love the oceans and the seas (all of them) and I have spent a great part of my life's leisure time traveling to, from and over them.   I love to swim and dive and if you give me a coral reef, a pair of goggles and some flippers, don't expect to see me until sunset.  (the same goes for skies, snowboards or surfboards) In between all my other activities, I've managed to help bring three beautiful children into the world with a lot of help from two women (they know who they are, they just prefer their privacy) and I can't imagine what my life would be like without them...well, okay, so I'd probably be on a beach in Bermuda counting the waves, but you get the point!   Instead of lolling away on a tropical island, I work and pay taxes.   Of course, I love blogging and I love Fox5 news.  I've been a fan of Good Day since it began and I still am!  It's been a lot of fun blogging here for the last couple of years and I look forward to more of the same as I get used to the new format.
