After watching our story, what's your opinion? Who is getting the "shakedown"?
1. Are the officers who don't "play the game," as they say, being intimated by the chief and supervisors?
OR
2. Are the chief and the city victims of a bunch of unhappy cops who are trying to grab control and money from the department?
For those caught up in the debate over bringing terrorists to trial in New York, consider how one of America's greatest presidents handled the terrorists of a different era:
On June 13, 1942 four Germans landed a submarine in Amagansett, Long Island. After a brief encounter with a Coast Guard officer, they took a train to New York City.
Six days later four more Germans landed a sub in Verda Beach, Florida.
Their plan, known as Operation Pastorius, was to place firebombs and explosives in places like hotels, department stores, and train stations.
But the scheme unraveled when two of the plotters got cold feet and one turned himself in.
Soon all eight were in custody, and President Roosevelt took charge.
In his book, "Roosevelt's Secret War: FDR and World War II Espionage," Joseph E. Persico writes that FDR had been long pre-occupied with sabotage, and had no mercy for suspected saboteurs. He sent his attorney general, Francis Biddle, a memo that said: "The death penalty is called for by usage and extreme gravity of the war aim and the very existence of our American government."
Persico also writes that FDR forcefully insisted on a military tribunal, saying the accused had forfeited any right to a civilian trial because "these men had penetrated battle lines... And were waging battle within this country... I won't hand them over to any United States Marshal armed with a writ of habeas corpus. Understand!"
Interestingly, the men had not yet committed any acts of sabotage, and probably could have gotten only three years for conspiracy in civilian court. Persico's book points out that defense lawyers tried to get the trial moved there. The issue went all the way to the United States Supreme Court, which upheld the military tribunal.
The verdict was pre-ordained. All eight were convicted and sentenced to death. Roosevelt commuted the sentences of the two who had cooperated.
But the six others were executed in the electric chair. According to Persico, one witness reported "they had gone to their deaths stunned, as if in a trance."
FDR told a friend that his only regret was they had not been hanged.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his cohorts will go on trial in civilian court.
It is quite clear what our 32nd president would do in this case.
As for the 9/11 thugs, let's hope they ask for a change of venue. And let's hope it's granted. To somewhere, say, in the South. Like Texas.
They will no doubt get a fair trial. And a punishment to fit their monstrous crimes.

Legal Neighbor Advice from Judge Marilyn Milian host of FOX 5’s “The People’s Court.”
My neighbor’s tree is sprawling branches over into my yard. I am tired of raking leaves and dropping form this eye sore! What are my rights?
Generally speaking, you own the land below and the air above your property line. That means that if a neighbor’s otherwise healthy tree branch is growing over your property and providing a shade or dropping fruit or debris that you don’t want, you can cut those offending branches, but at your own expense. I say healthy because if a neighboring tree has some inherently dangerous aspect, such as rot that might cause it to fall in a storm and hurt you or your property, you have the right to go to court and force them at their expense to remove the tree.
I travelled to Brooklyn the other day to take a tour of an abandoned railroad tunnel that sits underneath Atlantic Avenue in the downtown Brooklyn neighbourhood. Since there has been lots of publicity about this attraction (unanimously positive, as far as I can tell) I have some alternative, more churlish, insights about what to expect if you go. The tunnel is apparently operated by a team of some beefy guys and undernourished beatniks. Like any other railroad attraction, it's mainly an all-male outpost. There is something about the hobby of trains that guys love. The women involved seem to be clerical (to wit, one answers the phone) or otherwise ancilary. If you go, be ready to stand on line for up to 90 minutes to get the chance to climb down a manhole and see a remarkable engineering feat. The endless delays in actually getting into the attraction seem to be tied into the amateurish way the place is run; very labour intensive. One staffer signs you in, one staffer collects the admission, one staffer hands you a ticket, and one gnomish fellow gives the tour. "Six Flags" efficiency this is not. Plus the fact that dozens of people of all shapes, ages and sizes climbing down a ladder takes time, per person. The day I went was sunny, but I pity the fools who go when the windchill is 20 degrees and they are huddled next to Trader Joes trying to stay warm. Among the folks on my "tour" were about 40 youths on a school outing from Ruckus High School (not the real name) who made a lot of noise talking and goofing around, so that the adults in the group couldn't hear the Tour Guide too well. I guess there were other places these kids would have rather been on a Sunday morning. Dear Readers, if any of you have visited the Tunnel, I'd like to hear about your experience.
Well this certainly is a new “experience” on the airport security line. We have put in two requests for the video to see if it reveals exactly what came down on the day the victim’s watch was stolen. We’re not interested in the watch theft as much as how the TSA handled this. If the video shows the TSA forcing Jeff to empty out his stuff in the “pat down area”, the TSA would then have to answer more questions about why this watch theft tied up so many people involved in “homeland security”. The watch theft is purely a police matter. We assume the tape is being withheld until the watch theft case is settled.
The biggest concern is that there are two completely different versions of what happened that day.
Jeff’s Version: That the TSA accused him of stealing his own watch and called the police on him for trying to file a false report.
TSA Version: That Jeff was belligerent, they never accused him of stealing his own watch and called the police at Jeff’s request. Both versions are on the police report. Lying to the police is a crime.
I’d love to get your opinion and have you share any airport security stories you may have.
Lots of people go into cosmetic spas hoping to walk out looking young again---and there's no shortage of promises!!! Some doctors and staff will do all they can to talk you into getting expensive work done. The big lesson from this story is that you can't necessarily take what you see and hear as the absolute truth. In this case--the patient actually saw a business card....and a bio online that said "board certified". She says the doctor said it himself. But it’s just not true. She told me she never would have done the procedure had she known the truth. So don't make the same mistake she did- do your research. Find out the facts and if you don't feel comfortable with what you find, find a new doctor.
The word on the street is that the gay marriage initiative in the New Jersey State House is in big trouble. Apparently, the Democrats can’t get enough votes to pass it, even though outgoing Governor Jon Corzine is prepared to sign it. That’s a shame, because tens of thousands of gay couples in New Jersey today continue to be treated as second class citizens.
For me, this is less a moral or religious issue and more one of practical legal rights. It’s simple. There are so many rights that only married people have in New Jersey— and the vast majority of other states— that those who aren’t married will never have. You can be married for five minutes and have each other’s health care benefits— even if you don’t like each other or know each other very well. Conversely, a same sex couple who has been together for 25 or 30 years will never get that right because you have to be married to have your spouse’s health benefits.
In a hospital, certain rights having to do with end of life decisions and other tremendously sensitive and emotional decisions are only relegated to a spouse. The list goes on as to why gay marriage makes sense even if you’re not a big fan of homosexuality. It doesn’t really matter what you think about gays. What matters is that you believe in fairness and equal rights under the constitution.
Right now, were denying people their constitutional rights based solely on their sexual orientation. We’re not talking about special rights, but rather legal rights. And, while we’re at it, what is the impact legalizing gay marriage is supposed to have on traditional marriage? I mean, who really cares? If you’re heterosexual, why should it be that important to you whether gay marriage is legalized or not? Gay marriage needs to be made law in New Jersey now because there is a narrow window of opportunity that won’t exist in a couple of months.
Governor-elect Chris Christie is against gay marriage and is prepared to veto any legislation that could be passed in support of it. To Christie’s credit, he has been consistent throughout this campaign. Jon Corzine supports gay marriage. This is it. This is the window. Wouldn’t it be great to get this issue resolved in the so called “lame duck” session of the legislature? So, our new governor and the Democratic controlled legislature can focus on more pressing economic, fiscal, and employment related issues. The time is now. The rationale is clear. Gay marriage should be a no brainer. We’ll see what happens.
Let me know what you think. Write to me at SAdubato@aol.com.
What was up with Rosana's negative and hateful reaction to Sara Palin this morning? Is Fox News 5 going to become a typical liberal media who hates Sara Palin? Rosana needs to listen to entire comment of what Sara was saying about Katie Couric. I am sure Sara reads many magazines and news papers. WHO REALLY CARES WHAT SHE READS ROSANA.
I think that someone is asleep at the switch, or at the wheel. The people paying the most for access a ride are the taxpayers. Lawin is using my money and your money to ride around in almost private car service ways. He denies being a Sergeant, he gets dropped off blocks away from his command, and tells John that he's misstaken the identity. What's wrong with this picture? The bloggers who responded that were on his side are trying to cover for this dishonest person.
Keep up the good work John. Maybe Access a ride and the MTA will wake up and pull his priviledges. Deep down inside, I don't think they will. That would involve work!
I am surprised that he isn't being investigated by Internal Affairs for this. Dishonesty is a no-no in NYPD, and I know that Commissioner Kelly doesn't like liars and dishonest people in the NYPD, because it gives the entire department a Black Eye.
female viagra 200911 Text is red are words i created or words with a meaning i gave them, not in your Funkenwagnel dictionary.
i am no one as to having any medical background, nor play a Doctor on TV / radio which s of late seems more important. Am a thinker and developed many of my theories from 32,000 pgs i wrote on many fields of science from age 6 to 11. Not comparing myself but rather a well known formula to my 6 formulas. The well known formula is e = mc squared and can be used to determine anything from how fast a penny can fall from the Empire State Building to sending a rocket to find water (left clues throughout the webnet why science reads more water than there is (via my "Orange Spheres" explanation) on the moon. Now jut as e = mc squared has millions of application in many fields so can .666 to .333, "intrea" lights as part of the 6 "parental Lights", of which Ml (a lower case L) is the slowest at 186,400 mps ... the light spectrum we only know of.)
1st Flibanserin needs a catchy name how 'bout "Philly" (sorry baseball team) as "Fhellieserine" (felionserin). Instead of Elvis's Viva Viagra (Vegas) use Philadelphia Freedom as its background tune once the 1st few yrs of enthusiasm is worn out. Why does the drug work when the Medical professional stated on WNN/ABC other "anti depressant drugs did not work in fact had a negative effect on women's sexual desires.
At the 'ol "community(1)" FOXblog i had 3 blogs (~2006/7) on how the male brain's sexual circuitry is centered in his imaginary self i.e. sub ego (id?) thus if one inflates a male brain's ego the male brain will assist to have better orgasms & and the female brain as to the 8 letters (A thru H) represented via the female brain's physical body.
("community(1)" is no longer around the link you just click was to this "community2" one will be able to read images of those old "community(1)" blogs at this SEVENLOAD link (look for my photos at sevenload view readable original) only posted 3 captures of the 'ol FOXblog pgs)
Not to bore anyone by posting all letters to body/gland points that was on the old foxblog so just the last two letters for the female brain where the controversial "G" as in G spot and the unknown "H" (pressure) point (when i first talked 'bout it 1978, even sent it to The Weather Channel as i sent them clues on several levels of sciences from 1990-96). The "H point" is 2/3rds down the "spine" (remember the spine goes into the skull so measure down .666 to .333 from that point. Now the trick to it as with the male brain is to understand one has to activate 2/3rds of THAT circuitry just as for the male ego to arouse its sexual "switches" (please no jokes on blowing the fuse). Now in the female brain one has to also activate 2/3rds and thus as with the male sexual circuitry it could be any combination of A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H the "trick" is it has to be .666 of the 8 (or 5.3, notice that number is also floating between to FULL numbers not coincidence as in REAL natural choices create floating points as the glass in physics is 1/2 empty or 1/2 full in "Galacsics" its Ascending to .666 to .333 or Descending to .666 to .333). So that .666 levels in "intrea"-energy that has to be "tapped" for either sexual circuitry to go "on" can be any combo but it "fullest" in pleasure when Alpha & Omega it included in the "5.3" thus in the female brain the "H" if tapped correctly will give the female brain an organism close (ah but no cigar wink wink) to the male's "umph!" orgasm similarly for the male brain to enjoy more fuller "ahhh!!!" but not as eye crossing as the womens' the "A" spot has to be tapped and that is deep in the brain as in sub ego. Reads as crazy but after i wrote this to 5 Dr.s from the late 1970s till 1986 then to The Weather Channel in the early 1990s it was not till the late 1990s? that a Dr. in the Carolinas accidentally found some arousal point in the lower back when he stuck a needle in a woman's back he, i bet was 2/3rds down that spine and the prick (needle, not the street lingo) and the chemical just happen to be "right" for that female brain to react as it did. This is why placing certain size & types of pillows under the female brain's body in the small of the back can accentuate pleasure and why all my life even with girls/women that like other guys when i tried to get there attention i would ask them for one favor, always practice good posture. Now the trick is in this re-re-reposted clue and ever so slightly different for each person. Think blood circulating NOT physically that helps the male ( what Cialis, Viagra and Levitra does to help the physical circulation thus easier to invent than the woman's equivalent) but think (spiritually, NOT RELIGIOUSLY but, Galacsicly) as in a static like energy carried by blood then think its timing (it lags behind the blood traveling one cycle) now to play that "H" tune (the lover of that female brain's body) in manner that it activates 2/3rds of the 8.
BTW 1/3rd of these "letters" are activate the same way for the "male" & "female" brain it's like nature helps us as by we finding what works for us is half (1/3rd of the 2/3rds) of what we might need to activate "it" for out partner(s).
Usually Don't explain the blog's image as they are clues to that "blogbit" here it's Different ROSES = beauty of ddifferent women, fire=desires, musical notes=the link ,piece i mean ,peace

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Cancer experts fear new U.S. breast imaging guidelines that recommend against routine screening mammograms for women in their 40s may have their roots in the current drive in Washington to reform healthcare.
Critics of the guidelines, issued on Monday by the U.S. Services Task Force, an independent panel sponsored by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Quality, say the new guidelines are a step backward and will lead to more cancer deaths.
Here are some of their concerns.
* Dr Carol Lee, chairwoman of the American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Commission, said she fears insurers -- both private and public -- will use them to pare back health costs.
"These new recommendations seem to reflect a conscious decision to ration care," Lee said in a statement.
She said since the onset of regular mammogram screening in 1990, the death rate from breast cancer, which had been unchanged for the preceding 50 years, has decreased by 30 percent.
* Dr Len Lichtenfeld, deputy chief medical officer of the American Cancer Society, said the influential group will not change recommendations for routine mammograms for women starting at age 40.
But he is worried that women will become so confused by the conflicting recommendations they will stop getting mammograms altogether. "Frankly, from our point of view that would be the worst possible outcome," Lichtenfeld said in a telephone interview.
* Lichtenfeld and other doctors are worried that insurance companies and government insurers will seize on the recommendations as a way to control rising health costs.
"What is going to happen is insurers are going to say, 'The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force doesn't support screening. We're not going to pay for it,'" said Dr Daniel Kopans, professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School and a senior radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
"There were no new data to assess. One has to wonder why these new guidelines are being promulgated at a time when healthcare is under discussion and I am afraid their decision is related to saving money rather than saving lives," Kopans said.
* "The USPSTF recommendations are a step backward and represent a significant harm to women's health," Dr W. Phil Evans, president of the Society of Breast Imaging, said in a statement.
"At least 40 percent of the lives saved by mammographic screening are of women aged 40-49. These recommendations are inconsistent with current science and apparently have been developed in an attempt to reduce costs. Unfortunately, many women may pay for this unsound approach with their lives."

After a terrifying phone call and my worst possible nightmare, I am so happy to be able to thank everyone for doing such a wonderful job in saving my son, Cody's life.
The staff at Camp Nock-a-Mixon were amazing. From the counselors who were with Cody at the time and ran for immediate help to Deidre Kelly and all of the nurses, Dr. Ricky Goldberg, owners Mark and Bernice Glazer, their son Gary, Josh Flanagan and Lisa. You guys are true hero's!! I can't possibly thank you.
The doctors and nurses at Doylestown Hospital, Dr Brilliant who was in the ER when Cody was brought in (his kids go to Nock-A-Mixon). Drs. McGarvey, Smith, Guarino, Sangrigoli, Harding, (the cardiologists) They performed countless tests and procedures. They diagnosed and repaired the WPW. Thank you for the recommendation of Dr. Liu at Cornell Medical Center in NYC. All the nurses in ICU and IVU, who are the kindest, most caring staff I have ever met. I think of them everyday.
I also want to thank my family and friends, who put their lives on hold to get to the hospital and stay with us. Thanks for leaving early from your vacations, canceling your vacations, taking off from work, watching my daughter, driving back and forth to PA, bringing food, clean clothes, doing laundry, fact finding, asking great questions, calling, praying... and mostly for making me laugh even when I couldn't stop crying!!
We are so proud of Cody who is working very hard managing his football, wrestling and lacrosse teams as well as applying to college and working with the American Heart Association. I am so lucky to have my son and get to watch him grow and continue to do wonderful things. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough.

I really don't remember anything after the night of June 27th until I woke up in the hospital a week later. My cardiac arrest occurred on June 29th. The doctors say I will never remember that time, but I have gotten a pretty good picture from my family and friends. I am so lucky that the staff at Camp Nock-A-Mixon not only acted so responsibly but also knew exactly what to do. Because of them...I am here today. I am alive because of CPR and the AED. This knowledge is so important because you really never know when something like this can happen. I am really proud of all the teachers and staff who are getting trained or re-certified in my school district. I am so lucky that Doylestown Hospital had a hypothermic suit. This saved my brain cells and heart from having to do any work after the traumatic episode and allowed my body to recover. Unfortunately, not every hospital has this equipment. I was in the right place at the right time.
I want to thank everyone at camp. All the doctors and nurses at Doylestown Hospital. My family and friends, you are all amazing. Thanks for everything, Cody.
Let me see if I understand all this...

Many in Europe argue in favour of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West. It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behaviour, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a danger greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem .
Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe , American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state, in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams.
Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so. We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world, that we know.
Please take the time to read and understand what is written here.
The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behaviour is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a paedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.
Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.
Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel . First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defence.
This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia . Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.
The war against Israel is not a war against Israel . It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel , Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.
In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.
In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighbourhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.
Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.
A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.
Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Centre reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France . One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favour of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.
The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .
Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behaviour, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.
Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighbourhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.
